<p dir="ltr">Facility-level green H2-DRI-EAF steel production optimisation model, including GAMS model and input files. </p><p dir="ltr">System Requirements:<br>Requires GAMS software, which supports x86 64 bit MS Windows, Linux and macOS systems. <br>Tested on GAMS Version 24.7.1 r56632 WEX-WEI x86 64bit/MS Windows (released Mar 14, 2016) with an academic license (license holder: Aidong Yang).</p><p dir="ltr">Installation:<br>Download GAMS (if not already installed) from https://www.gams.com/download/.<br>Download the optimisation code and dataset files from https://figshare.com/s/92ed30035b61fd174d93, saving all in the GAMS project directory: \Documents\gamsdir\projdir</p><p dir="ltr">Demo:<br>Open the GAMS model.<br>Click Run. <br>Expected run time for demo on a "normal" desktop computer is 1-2 hours for 9 loops (3 scrap fractions (0%, 25%, 50%) x 3 years (2030, 2040, 2050)).<br>Results file will be ouputted into project directory, titled (in this case): "Results_4a_China_N_2017.txt"</p>
