Jesse's mouth was wide open which represented not just the material opening into his body, but also an immaterial opening into his soul. This person was unfamiliar to Jesse but his words were something he felt he knew. Jesse felt a deep resonance inside his soul which he did not exactly believe in, being brought up as a materialist. This feeling he was experiencing was completely foreign to him but he did not wish it to be. A kind of reverence towards the simple words this person in the video was speaking but to Jesse, they were not just words. The person was speaking about something called the sublime. The experience of the sublime when experiencing beauty. Jesse understood the regular use of the term of beauty but this person wasn't speaking of the regular use. He kept mentioning a someone 'Kant' and being fearful when seeing a beautiful object. He continued watching the video in awe and acted as if he understood what was occurring but in reality, he was a simple novice.
