she became more and more interested as the video kept on going. She even clicked on the creator's photo to go and look at their other videos, hoping to find more similar content which was alleviating her anxiety somehow and helping her find pieces of what she was looking for.

The videos were simply about this man explaining his personal relationship with God, the way he personally felt connected to Jesus. How this love that was guiding him was able to fill up his whole life, and thus drown away anything else that was consequentially an unimportant detail. This concept resonated with Jesse thanks to its simplicity (it could be explained so promptly) and its depth (despite being so simple, it had deep ramifications that could lead to many more complicated subtopics). But it remained that everything came out of this one simple-to-understand slogan.

He went on to explain as well that his personal connection with God and his way of life weren't just some sort of reinterpretation; that he wasn't just someone creating his own little religious sect by only picking out what he wanted and rejecting what he didn't want. He explained that what he stood for was indeed the full story. That he was convinced that the truest form Christianity begins with a desire to get closer to God and feeling his presence in ones life. That this would be the most important part. That every else followed very easily from this.

This gave Jesse a lot of energy. She felt that she wanted such a life, but most importantly, she felt that she could have such a life.
