he says: "When we are searching for something, we are not at peace. No matter how much we try to cope, it's always a temporary solution. The answer is not to look inside ourselves and to find peace there, either. As a very wise man once said, we should live each day like our last, how exciting that may be for some of you who are suicidal, and plan like we will live forever. What will you do if you knew that you have an infinite amount of time -- and that there is no such thing as 'time running out'? We don't do anything for the sake of 'getting it done,' but for the sake of already enjoying the things that we would, if we had all the time in the world. And we do have all the time in the world, if only we will believe it."

Jesse thought that this man was a genius, and put her phone down, and began to pray for forgiveness. All forms of depression are ultimately a manifestation of unbelief, he thought. Yet it is so much easier to not believe than it is to believe. To be happy living requires a great amount of energy. But what's there not to like? If we were given an infinite amount of time to do exactly that which we love: why do we not enjoy it -- who is placing demands on us? I will reply to the messages that I want to, and only say what I want to, says Jesse. But this reminded him: he doesn't know what he wants.
