He was amazed by the way this person which he soon realised was a Pastor was conveying the message. The topic was such a delicate one but this man spoke from a place of deep understanding of the Word of God and calmness. Jesse still intrigued continued to watch the video and didn’t even know when he started to shed tears. The Word of God had pierced his heart so much that he was starting to receive clarity. Right there and then he fell to his knees and cried out to God. “Lord you know I don’t deserve this but you let this happen. Why didn’t you stop her? How could she do this to me?!!! Why did she cheat on me?!”, he said as he wept. He wept and wept until he fell asleep.

He woke up and realised that he has slept off. He picked up his phone and saw more messages and missed calls from his wife, Clara. He stood up, left the hotel, got into his car and drove home. As he got home and opened the front door, he saw Clara pacing. She had been waiting for him, worried sick trying to reach him. “Jesse I’m so sorry I hurt you”, she said as tears rolled down her cheeks. Jesse in shock just stood looking at her. He didn’t even know what to say. He sat on the ground still in shock and didn’t utter one word. The room was silent for over 30 minutes. Suddenly Jesse spoke and started to express how deeply hurt and confused he was but that he stumbled on a video that turned things around for him. He said he was willing to make the marriage work again but they’d both have to go through thorough counselling for him to be able to trust her again. Clara still crying nodded and said she’d do anything to restore their marriage. She sat on the ground close to him, held his hand and they both sat in silence.
