And after a while he realized that he was more interested than he normally would. Was it because he talked about healing from church hurt? Did his words bring back memories that he thought he had buried?

In that moment Jesse realized that it’s been so long since he entered the walls of a church, he realized that he missed the community of the church that he had when he was still in church. He realized that he had a void in his heart that is there because his relationship with God was non existent since he wasn’t able to get answers to the questions he tirelessly asked since the incident that sent him on a spiral.
