Winifred McLaughlin's War Work

Winifred joined High Duty Alloys on Slough Trading Estate. She tested metal items to check the consistency of the metal. She had to make notes of the results of the tests and take photographs and process them. One day, a film crew came to film the team so that the film could be shown to others who might have to do the job.
