White-metal gilt and inlaid disc brooch

Silver-gilt circular brooch, diam. 2.1cm. Decorated with equal-armed cross of ungilded silver, arms each with three rows of nielloed triangles, circular cell at centre containing flat cut garnet. Space between arms filled with chip-carved contour lines. Whole encircled with hatched ridge inside low rim. On back, normal attachment for now milling coil and pin, catchplate broken.
