Silver buckle and plate, total length 4.5 cm. Compressed oval loop, simple tongue with back coiled around hinge-bar. Plate damaged, but originally a plate of sheet metal tapering to a curved end, doubled over bar of loop to form back plate (now missing and patched up with wax). 3 rivets, 2 at top of plate and one at base, one with remains of a domed silver head encircled within a beaded wire frame. Originally all three were complete and decorative.
