Two glass gobular beakers

Glass squat jar (Harden Class VIII, c, 25). Height 10.6cm, rim diam. 6.2cm. Glass pale bluish-green with large and small air bubbles, pronounced blowing spirals. Rim splayed, body sagging to broad base, base pushed in (omphalos) with clear pontil mark. Some wear visible on rim.Broken by Faussett's labourers, and partly restored by him. Now incomplete.Similar second glass jar not extant. – D.H.
