Twelve amethyst beads on wire:36) length 1.7 cm, drop-shaped, clear, pale, good polish37) length 1.75 cm, long barrel, stout, good pale colour and polish38) length 1.7 cm, but one end damaged. Very pale, dull, broad, flattish39) length 1.5 cm, broad drop, dark colour, dull40) length 1.4 cm, mottled, barrel-shaped, flattish41) length 1.3 cm, chunky drop-shaped, good colour, dulled slightly42) length 1.7 cm, long chunky drop, fair colour, fair polish43) length 1.5 cm, broad drop, pale, dull44) length 1.6 cm, long tapering drop, clear deep colour at one end, pale at other, transparent45) length 1.7 cm, paler, good polish, drop-shaped46) length 1.5 cm, but one end damaged, slender, stout, deepish colour, fair polish47) length 1.75 cm, elegant drop, thickish, good colour and polishEither Sibertswold or Barfriston; original label indicated M6599, Crundale 1757, but this is an error.
