Repoussé silver pendants(?), two nearly intact, and fragments stuck to card of one or maybe two more. Probably 4. They show two birds of prey stooping from either side in profile on a fish. Fish shown with open mouth, lines of dots dividing head from body with dots down middle and raised lines set herring-bone-wise to triangular tail. Birds have square Style II backed heads, with thick curving beaks. Bodies decorated with rows of dots between lines running with outline of body. Damaged and set on wax and card, but silver obviously very thin. They are pendants according to Faussett sketch, with loops on tail. He says there were three.SCH follows the number on the Mayer Index Card and mis-identifies the accession number as M 6849, but Gatty Slip indicates it should be M 6349. – D.H.
