Three shield studs, diam. 3.5cm. Identical corrosion suggests all from same grave. Much wood with grain going one way on underside. Tops obscured, but slight glimpses of bronze showing through accretions on all three, indicates heads bronze or bronze or silver plated, rivets iron. Shanks have round washer at back. Corrosion and preservation suggests prob. Gilton.
