Thomas Herbert Elliot Jackson (Pinkie) involvement in East African conflict

THE Jackson (known as Pinkie), had been in the Kenya Defence Force in 1930, before it became the Kenya African Rifles. He was initially with the East African Renaissance Squadron (EARS) along with his brother-in-law Bill Symes and then took charge of setting up the Turkana Irregulars to protect against potential Italian attacks.
