The wartime experiences of WO Reginald Tom Stocker MBE

<p dir="ltr">My mother, Bridget Maria Stocker, was an army nurse and met my father in Libya in 1943. They married in 1948 in London after keeping in touch and meeting in Germany in 1945 when she was stationed in Hamburg and Dad was with the HQ in Spandau, Berlin.</p><p>Like many Second World War veterans, my father did not talk about his war experiences, so it was hard to put together a full obituary for his funeral in 2004.</p>
