The Chappelle family's experience

The family lived in Grangetown during the war. One uncle (George Chappelle) was in Bombay. The other uncle (Corporal Ivar Chapelle) died as a result of beriberi in a Japanese camp. The Great grandfather died in the Cardiff Blitz, outside the Plymouth Arms bar.
