My mother Betty Lambie (nee Holmes) worked at Sandridge Radio and Hawklaw Cupar. Telegraphic typing Morse, receiving code and plain language reading undulator tape.

She told us that the messages they were transcribing for decryption elsewhere were of no value. However, I have read that Hawklaw near Cupar was ideally placed to pick up radio signals from occupied Paris.
