See attached document - story of Harry Gibb who was shot down in the Netherlands aged 19 and is still buried with his plane.

History

Item list and details

1. silk map used by RAF crews in case they were stranded in enemy territory. This map of France was out of date so was given as a gift by Harry to his Aunt (the contributor's grandmother) 2. Image of Harry's Aunt Lilian and Uncle Albert at Harry's 'grave' post war 3. Memorial erected by the people to mark the location of the plane where Harry and other crew members are interred.
