<p dir="ltr">- David Hubert Pugh Jones was a sea captain who was awarded an MBE.<br>- He lost 2 ships but performed exceptionally, being awarded in total:<br>The Military MBE<br>1939-1945 Star<br>The Atlantic Star<br>Burma Star<br>- He was the British Endeavour Chief Officer, when he was attacked on the 22nd February 1940<br>- He was a Welsh speaker, only learning English later in life when taught.<br></p>
