Gatty Slip for M6625: Tablet with 122 glass beads strung on it, some transparent - some opaque - all colours - found on Sibertswold & Barfreston Downs, 17722, 1733.Sixteen orange opaque beads, of that immediately recognisable kind which have marked spiral structure and a tendency to weather easily. Various sizes from a large ring diam. 1.1cm down to small rings 0.8 cm. Several of the characteristic barrel-shape. Mayer Card: the only identification. The whole strung together by colour and clearly from many graves. Not all certainly from Sibertswold or Barfreston, but no means of telling.Three heavily encrusted with green oxide of copper, and another slightly so.
