Formerly in the Faussett coll. [sketch]Mayer card: 6 brass rings too small for ornaments. Piece of brass unknown use 1/2 inch long. [sketch]There are 2 Gatty Slips for M 6554 - one for the rings and another for the \object\" which is sketched. The comment \"too small for ornaments\" was introduced with the Mayer cards post Gatty Slip. – D.H. & B.B."
