Sidney William Gidley's Registration Card for National Service

He was called to register in December 1942 by the Allocation Officer. Although he passed as Grade 1, he spent the war in a reserved occupation, based at Southall Gas Works in London in the By-Products Department, and was responsible for tar spraying on the roads.
