Middle-sized tumulus; grave about three feet deep. The coffin had passed the fire; pretty entire bones of an elderly person. On the right side of the skull was the head of a smaller hasta, or perhaps of a larger sized pilum, as at No. 59; here were also the blade of a knife, and some small bits of iron, perhaps the remains of nails.
