Tumulus and grave much as the last. The coffin, which had been very thick, had passed the fire; the bones were almost gone. A mass, consisting of many links of a small iron chain rusted together; it had some coarse linen cloth adhering to it; and a brass ringle [M 6463], which is one inch and five-eighths diameter, rusted together in among the links. Near the neck were ten small beads, as before. At the feet was an urn of black earth, capable of containing about a pint; it was broken in getting it out, having been stamped upon by the labourer who sunk the grave; among its fragments was found a small piece of an ivory comb [M 6550].
