Middle-sized tumulus; grave three feet. deep. Bones pretty sound; no appearance of a coffin. A pair of brass nippers (volsellæ) with a ringle at the end [M 6462]; the blade of a knife, much larger and longer than any I have hitherto found here, this being twenty inches long.[1][1]It Is not now to be identified, having probably perished from decomposition.- C.R.S.
