Sibertswold Downs Grave 115
Middle-sized tumulus; grave three feet deep. The coffin had passed the fire; the bones were almost gone. The head of an hasta, two feet long, on the right side of the skull; the hemispherical umbo, and the cross piece of a shield; a pair of iron pincers [M 6494]; and the blade of a knife.
