Middle-sized tumulus; the grave about three, feet deep. The coffin had passed the fire; the bones of an old person, almost gone. On the left side of the skull was the head of a pilum, as before; and at the feet was the spike or ferrule belonging to it, as before; here were also the conical umbo of a shield, as before; and the blade of a sword, as at No. 98: it lay on the right side.
