Sibertswold Downs Grave 100
Middle-sized tumulus; grave about three feet deep. The coffin had passed the fire; the bones were almost gone. Near the neck were eight small beads; towards the middle of the grave was the blade of a knife; and, lower down, was an iron instrument with a ringle at one end of it, as at No. 18; another iron instrument, as at No. 10; several iron links, as of a small chain, rusted together into a mass, as before, and having some cloth adhering to them; and four iron clasps or corner pieces of a small box. A woman's grave.
