Several glass beads
Douglas 1793, 26:The late Rev. Bryant Faussett, of Heppington, collected many relics from Ash; several fell into the hands of my friend Edward Jacob, Esq; of Faversham, and are now in my cabinet.Towards the year 1773, in passing through Ash, I observed some children looking with much eagerness among the sand in the pit: on enquiry, they told me they were picking up glass beads, several of which I received from them [...] About that period I remember presenting Sir Ashton Lever with the beads, and they are now in his late unfortunate Museum.
