online resource
posted on 2024-06-05, 19:28 authored by Their Finest Hour Project Team

The contributors shared that Stanley worked at Courtaulds Mill, Panfield, Essex. They explained that Stanley married Constance Ling in September 1942, and her brother, John Frederick Ling, was killed in May 1943. The contributors stated that, four months after the death of Constance's brother, her husband Stanley was killed while serving with the Royal Air Force Bomber Command. The contributors noted that Constance did not believe that her husband had died and wrote to him quite a lot.
