Sergeant Len Brooks was in the 77 Squadron at RAF Driffield and flew Whitley bombers. He was born 9/4/17, died 28/5/40. He joined up in 1938. He was shot down.
Len's nephew supplied many letters documenting the social history at the time and his uncle's death (see object list) - no other details or dates.
