Only info about father and mother - served as a driver in London but no memorabilia or info. Father said he thought he was safer at Al-Alamein than she was. Not sure if she drove important people or not.
Later in life Father started talking about Al-Alamein and met some other former soldiers from New Zeeland who were near his regiment in Italy. They started swapping stories.
In Iraq to start with - 32 Field Regiment. Artillery. Sailed in the Johan Van Oldenbarneveltd, which was later used as a passenger ship.
