Father, Julian Taupasz, served at Monte Cassino. He never spoke about the war. He served in the 3rd Carpathian Division, 2nd (Polish) Corps (General Anders).

Julian also served in the Middle East, Italy, Hull. Based at Hogsmore Camp, Hamersham.

Born in 1922. Originally from Kotow, Labova, and moved presumably to Siberia (after capture in 1939).
