online resource
posted on 2024-06-05, 17:34 authored by Their Finest Hour Project Team

My father was in the RAF and was an aircraft maintenance engineer and was stationed in Baghdad (Persia, now Iraq). He first joined in 1924 when aircraft had cables (not engines). He left (not sure when) and re-joined at the start of the war.
