Mr Dennis Cole, a Sparker from WWII

Mr Denis Cole's daughter brought in a typescript which her father had written about his war experiences, and which is part of the documentation attached.

She also included a copy of a book she had written about her father's life. He has only recently died at the age of 99. His main memory of the war was the camaraderie of his fellows.

She also mentioned that Mr Cole's brother, Charles Frederick Watkins, was a prisoner of war of the Japanese. He was due to go on what was considered a suicide mission, but fortunately, the war ended before that could happen. She had no more information to offer on that topic.
