The first photo is from the Solder's Service Book. It has my great grandfather's (Geoff King) personal details. He was a signalman in the 19 air formation signals. It also has his personal details, his army number and where he worked before the war. His appearance, height and weight were also included.

The second photo is a picture of The Burma Star medal. Geoff King won this medal. It was awarded for service in the Burma Campaign from 1941 to 1945.

The third photo is a picture of a Royal Corps of Signals brooch worn by Geoff King. It features the figure of Mercury standing on a small globe in white metal.

The fourth photo is a picture of a certificate of transfer to the army reserve for Geoff King. It shows that he transferred from the army to the army reserves in July 1947, two years after the end of World War II.
