Photo album and journal of Uncle Fred:
RAF Air-Sea Rescue in North Africa, 1944 - based in Alexandria, Egypt, mostly from 1944. Things might have died down.

Air-Sea Rescue:
Fred's war record was discovered by their brother online later on - crewed one of the first boats to get a gun tower added. Originally stationed in Egypt. Had a stint in the hospital for a couple of weeks. Promoted and posted to Alexandria in 1944.

Returned to Hampshire in 1945 - four months later discharged from service in 1946.
