The contributor brought the attached brief histories of her parents, Richard Osborne and Vera Tyreman, to the Collection Day. These are written in their own words and include a detailed account of Richard's war service, mainly in Burma, and an extract from Vera's diary describing her work in the Women's Land Army. The third account is of Richard's sister Lilian Osborne's Land Army service, compiled from Lily's own recollections.
