Cap, tie, tie - Royal Grammar School Worcester tie and cap.
6 years old when the war started. Collecting books for shell casings.
Played drums during the war - YMCA Fernhill Heath. Played at VE and VJ day outside the house.
Came to RGS 1944-1949.
Mr Gilblin - WW1 got stabbed by a bayonet in the neck.
Madame Robson (French teacher).
Played sport.
Chunky Chesel - master.
Field Marshal.
Book - Flag to Pretoria.
Shot down in Bristol.
Bombed a mecho garage - Engineering - During lunchtime saw a plane over Worcester, it was a German plane.
A few planes crashed into the canal instead of the airstrip.
Had a refugee from Birmingham with him.
