The contributor's husband and his parents lived in Hillfields, Coventry. On the night of the blitz, they knew that there would be a heavy attack in Coventry. At the time, the contributor's husband was fourteen years old. They found shelter in the Cathedral. The Cathedral was demolished in 1941 on the night of blitz. They realised later that their house was demolished too. The young fourteen-year-old boy lost his new suits that night.
