I am a "Coventry Kid". There was a lot of bombing. The Cathedral was ruined.
Everyone had gas masks, even children. There were shelters in the gardens and the streets. We played in the streets, but we still went to school There were gas-mask Drills.
[Pam joined in when we sang"You are my Sunshine" and"The Farmer wants a wife", led by fellow resident, Mary Catt]
