The contributor's story relates to his father's wartime career in Italy during 1943 and 1944. Evidence suggests that he may have been close to a wartime atrocity at Padule di Fucecchio. 175 Italian civilians were executed by 26th Panzer Division, commanded by Eduard Crasemann. The contributor would like to know if his father was working on this case as he was a member of the Military Police but he has no tangible evidence to work on.
