William Elwyn Jones served with the Royal Welch Fusiliers (4th Battalion) 4197812. Demobbed May 1946 and returned to North Wales where he had been born in Conwy and grew up in Dolgarrog/ William was training in North Yorkshire when he met his future wife, Eileen Waddington
