This course will use cinema to explore how the presentation of various situations related to women's issues are handled in film. The students will be introduced to the basic concepts of film study, allow for reflection on the social and/or medical issues presented in the movies and how to incorporate understanding of these situations into professional development. Special attention will be paid to the social determinants of health.
