Martin Edward Christiansen: Prisoner of War in Italy

Martin (4 August 1920-25 Feb 1977), met his wife Beatrice Alice Christiansen, in 1948. Margaret was born in Hanover.

Martin was in Italian camps where they were asked to run downhill. Martin and others who ran downhill survived. Those who did not run downhill were killed.

In Danish letters, his family sent him Monopoly game with escape kit.
