Margred's story

Richard was two years old in March 1945. He was killed by a V2 Rocket. When the house collapsed, the grandparents were pulled out from the rubble.

Allen died in Southern Italy on 22nd May 1944 (The contributors grandmother's brother). He had also served in Africa.

Later, the Russian embassy handed over items from the war, and the ration book was found and passed to the contributor.
