Manchester Blitz and Grandma's Arm Injury

During the Manchester Blitz my Grandma broke her arm. She was given lots of sympathy and really enjoyed the gifts and good wishes. The truth is that she did hurt her arm but not because of the Blitz hitting Manchester - she actually hurt her arm catching some chickens that got loose on the train when she had been flirting with some soldiers.
