<p dir="ltr">The contributor referenced the first item: a board signed by men who left to fight in D-Day from Hardway, Gosport. He noted that the foundation, with which he was involved, had tracked down almost all of them men who signed the board.

<br>The contributor explained the history of the second item: a plaque found in Fort Brockhurst belonging to the North Nova Scotia Highlanders. The Plaque was presented to Lieutenant Colonel Roy Smilie, and made by Kelly Grant, in 1975.

<br>Furthermore, he explained that the 'D-Day Fellowship' had began after two local gentlemen formed a group with the aim of establishing a memorial for British and Allied troops who left on D-Day in Gosport. He noted that, on D-Day, troops left from Stokes Bay, Gosport. </p>
