online resource

No tumulus; grave about two feet deep, and for the first foot was filled with flints; for about one foot more, Some scattered bones lying in all directions; among them was the broken head of a pilum. At the bottom lay a skeleton, bones of which were pretty perfect; no appearance of a coffin. Nothing but the blade of a knife.
