- July 1943 - Operation Husky, Invasion of Sicily
- September 1943 - Operation Avalanche, Invasion of Italy
- June 1944 - Operation Neptune

Brief service history whilst on-board HMS Obdurate, an O Class destroyer
- May 1945 - Last Russian Convoy, sailed to Kola near Murmansk as part of convoy JW67.
- June 1945 - Accompanied HMS Norfolk carrying King Haakon of Norway and his family back to Oslo.
- July 1945 - Part of escort with HMS OBEDIENT for US Cruiser USS PHILADELPHIA during passage in English Channel carrying US President Harry S Truman
